Brother's Keeper celebrates with ribbon cutting
Brothers' Keeper of the Albemarle recently had a Currituck Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting at their location in Moyock. Brothers' Keeper is a non-profit charity thrift store that benefits the local community and beyond. Good quality clothing, accessories, toys and household items are for sale, but nothing goes to waste. Whatever Director Bonnie Schuster cannot use gets passed on to Faith Forward men's ministry, Kids First, Animal Lover's Assistance League, Children's House of Hope or the Lion's Club.
From left: Bonnie Schuster, Director of Brothers' Keeper, Theresa Dozier of East Carolina Bank in Currituck, and Currituck Chamber Ambassador Janet Land of Moyock.
Currituck Chamber Administrative Assistant Mary Krawiec searched the racks for clothing deals.
Chamber President Shannon Kinser, left, completed her purchase with Brothers' Keeper staff person Mary Schuster Stiles.
